It didn't even make it past 1%, like it just stopped downloading when I turned it off.īasically ive noticed that the light on the external drive blinks when the xbox is on and downloading and when off the light stays solid with no blink. come home from work 12 hours later and it says installation stopped. had it downloading before I went to work, turn my xbox off as it's always been set to keep the hard drives on when powered off.

Today I plugged it into the side usb port which i hear is 3.0 and the others are not? Anyway I tried to install the game again, after reformatting first. uninstalled and tried again, same result. Each time when I would try to resume installation it would attempt to start and then say installation stopped AND it would continuously show the pop up message over and over. I had it plugged into the back USB ports and tried downloading games to it and after multiple tries the games would get to 32 % or so and it would say "installation stopped".
